《PEP Primary English 》 Design of  speaking  Lesson what did  you do last  weekend Book8 unit3 应城市双环学校:李红波 PART I Analysis of the teaching material (  说教材 ) The main topic of units is  “what did you do last weekend  ”. This period is the first period of unit3. T  he main duty of this period is to lead into the sentence  “what did do last weekend ” and five verbs studies can get a brief knowledge of what is the past tense. 1. Status and Function of the teaching material.( 教材的地位与作用 ) 2. Teaching Aims and requirements.( 教学目标和要求 ) (1) Knowledge and skill goals.( 知识与技能目标 ) Students master the meaning, reading, writing new words, watched, visited, played, cleaned, and washed. Students master the new sentence “what did you do ” (2) Course and method goals.( 过程与方法目标 ) Students can use the new words and new sentence make their own dialogue and use them to record the primary daily things they did. (3)Equip them with the emotion ,attitude and value goals : (情感、态度与价值观目标) students can learn the importance of team work and learn to concern their family members by interviewing their family member. 3. Teaching importance and difficulties.( 教学重难点 ). Students can improve their listening and writing ability to some extent by learning this period. Furthermore, students can get certain knowledge of the past tense and lay foundation for the whole unit3. 4. Teaching Aids( 教具 ) Multi-media computer, Tape recorder, Flash cards, and so on.
