THE TIGER AND THE MONKEY  老虎和猴子 Good evening ladies and gentlemen! My  name’s  . I  ’m years old. I ’ mnow studying in Wen Lan Jiang Central School. I ’ min Class Grade . 晚上好 ,女士们，先生们！我的名字叫  。我  岁了。 我现在文澜江中心学校上学。我在  年级  班。 I’m very glad to have the chance standing here to have a speech. My topic tonight is The tiger and the monkey 我非常高兴能有机会站在这儿作演讲。 我今晚演讲的题目是 《老虎 和猴子》 A long time ago ,there was an old tiger. He did not often go to look for food himself. 很久以前，有一只年迈的老虎。他经常不出去找食物。 Every day, he made one of the smeller animals bring him something to eat. 每天，他每天让一些弱小的动物给他带食物吃。 One morning the tiger was very, very hungry. He said to a monkey, hungry, Monkey. Go and bring me some food. ” 一天早上，老虎感到非常饥饿。他对一只猴子说：我饿了，猴子，去 给我找点吃的。 “ I can ’ t do that ! Mr tigersaid. the monkey”.“ There ’othersan tiger in the forest. He’s younger and stronger then you are ! He told me not to bring you anything ! ” “我不能这么做，老虎先生。 ”猴子说：“森林里还有另一只老虎，他比你还要年轻，而且强壮。他叫我不能给你带任何东西。 ” “ What! ” shouted the tiger.“ Another tiger? Show me that beast. I to him. ” “什么？”老虎大声嚷嚷： “另一只老虎？带我去见见那畜生，我要跟他说说。” “ Come with me, Mr Tiger. ” said the monkey. ” You’ ll see him yourself. “跟我来吧，老虎先生”猴子说： “你会见着他的！” Then the monkey took the tiger to a big river. 然后猴子带着老虎走到一条大河前。 “ Look into the river,  ”  said the monkey.  “ There he is! See his head? Lo at his big teeth. Isn he bigger’ than you?  ” “往河里看”猴子说：“他在这！看见他的头了吗？看看他的大牙齿。 他不是比你更大 ？” “ Grr r ? ! So you toldthe monkey not to bring me anything! Grrr ? I ’ ll kill you! ” “吼 ?.！是你 猴子不要 我 任何 西！吼 ?.我要 了你！” With these words the tiger jumped into the river and did not come out again. 完 些 ，老虎扑 河里，再也出不来了。 “ Ha ha ha! Goodbye, Mr Tiger.” cried the monkey and awayhe went. “哈哈哈！再 了，老虎先生。 ”猴子笑着走开了。
