I .Teaching aims:
Guess words according to the word meaning.
Fill in the blanks of a given passage.
Learn important words , phrases and some important sentence stuctures.
II. Procedures
Step 1 Do exercise for Ex.1 on page32
Find words in the unit that have the following meanings.

Step2 Complete the paragraph with words or phrases below in their proper
form.
Sharon looked at herself in the mirror and sighed. She had posted the airmail letter to
Tim last week but had had no reply.She smoothed her hair down with a wet comb,
wiped her muddy shoes, and thought about the three months she had known her. He
was the nicest boy she had ever metOtherwise. she would not have fallen in love with
him. She still remembered that he adjusted quickly when he heard she came from a
remote village. At first she had heard from him every week but now she had not heard
for a fortnight. Why? She had decided to find out. She walked down the platform to
catch the train to New York feeling both excited. and nervous. She was dying to see
him again but what if he didnt want to see her?
