Discuss how to improve English yourself. 3. Encourage students to try their best to learn English 三、学习者特征分析 Students are in the second term of Grade 7. The new words are abstract?for them, so I should make up some sentences with?these new words. I will let them know and understand?the new words in real life situation. Considering students’?different abilities, I divide one task into two levels. So the students can choose the one that they can do. 四、教学策略选择与设计 RPCPP 五、教学重点及难点 1. Talk about the ways to learn English. 2. New words and phrases: two years ago, look it/them up, enjoy oneself, be afraid to do sth. Make mistakes... and so on. 六、教学过程 教师活动 预设学生活动 设计意图 Step1. Let the students talk about something about learning English. What do they know about English? If they know, let them say their details. 让学生思考2分钟再回答 Encourage the students to talk about ways they improve their English Step2. Ask the students to talk about the picture in the text. What mistake does Teresa make? Step3. Let’s listen to the tape and answer the following questions: 1. What grade is Teresa in? 2. What language does she speak at home? 3. What does she often read? 4.
