Ask students what the word chores means. (A chore is a job you do at home.) What chores do you usually do at home? Ask students: Can you give me some examples?. Look at the pictures and show the phrases : clean the living room; sweep the floor ;do the dishes ;take out the rubbish; make the bed; fold the clothes .Then ask the class to pay attention to the new words and phrases. Then write “ sweep -swept ;take out the rubbish; fold the clothes”on the blackboard. Next A Challenge Game to remember them. Step 2. Expressions for chores Show the pictures.
