Period One 一、???????? 教学目标 1.Learn the new expressions for different chores, like to do the dishes, sweep the floor, take out the rubbish and so on. 2.Learn to make polite requests using Could you /I please …? 3.Encourage students to help their parents do chores. 二、教学重点 ?? 1.Learn key words and expressions. ?? 2. Learn to make polite requests using Could you please …? 三、教学难点 The new expressions for different chores. 四、教学过程 Step 1. Leading in Say to students :Do you love you parents? Do you do chores at home? Ask students what the word chores means. (A chore is a job you do at home.) What chores do you usually do at home? Ask students: Can you give me some examples?. Look at the pictures and show the phrases : clean the living room; sweep the floor ;do the dishes ;take out the rubbish; make the bed; fold the clothes .Then ask the class to pay attention to the new words and phrases. Then write “ sweep -swept ;take out the rubbish; fold the clothes”on the blackboard. Next A Challenge Game to remember them. Step 2. Expressions for chores Show the pictures. Can you guess: What chore is she doing? What are they doing?... Try to remember the pictures in orders Teach the new expressions and the new sentence structure: Could you please …? Step 3. Pairwork 1a Point to the items in the box. Point to the items again and read each one to the class. According to the pictures in PPT. Ask students to find a partner. Make their own conversations. As they work, move around the room and answer any questions. Step 4. Listening 1b Read the instructions. ?Point to the chart .Show students the columns with the heading Mom and Peter? Say, Listen to the recording and check Mother or Peter. ?Play the recording the first time. Who will do the chores? Peter or his mom?. ?Play the recording a second time. This time ask students to fill in the blanks . Check the answers. Step 5. Pairwork 1c Point to
