PUBLIC • Copyright ©2021 Rockwell Automation, Inc. 2 Background - Meet the Challenges •Needs that cannot be addressed by using commercial noise source: • Lack of enough information for setting up simulation model. • Directivity and radiation patterns are different from the actual product which yields less confidence in the correlation between internal chambers and external accredited chambers. We see differences which can be caused by: •Different geometries, different reflections •Different test equipment (antennas, receivers, software, cables) •Different test distances •Different sensitivity to directivity •A reference noise source was created by modifying existing products.
