一、教学目标:
1. 语言知识目标:
1) 能掌握以下单词和词组:doing?homework,?watching?TV,?cleaning,?eating?dinner,?
reading?a?book,?talking?on?the?phone
能掌握以下句型:
= 1 \* GB3 ①What are you doing??Im watching TV.?
= 2 \* GB3 ②Whats he/she?doing??He/Shes reading.?
= 3 \* GB3 ③What are they doing???Theyre watching?TV.?
= 4 \* GB3 ④Is he reading? Yes, he is./?No, he isn’t.
(2) 能了解以下语法:

2. 情感态度价值观目标:
通过对本单元的任务性活动,目的是能培养培养学生学习英语的强烈兴趣,乐于参加各种活动的积极情感,乐于合作,培养学生团结合作的精神
二、教学重难点
1. 教学重点:
1) The Present Progressive Tense
2) What questions Yes/No questions and short answers
3) Learn the new language points.
2. 教学难点:
现在进行时中现在分词的结构及读音,能在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行的动作。
三、教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
Greetings
Step 2 Lead-in and presentation
Lead?out?the?new?phrases?and?target?languages.?
E.g. T:?What’s this S: It’s a newspaper.
T: What is he doing? S:He’s reading a newspaper.
(Help?him/her?to?answer.通过课件上的图片,引出目标单词,由单词,到词组,以chain drill的形式操练目标语言)
New phrases:?reading?a?newspaper,?making soup, listening to a CD,etc.
2. Play a game: 图片闪现游戏,stand up and say the phrases
Show the pictures quickly on the screen and let students stand up and say the phrases quickly. 通过在大组进行竞争游戏,让学生在紧凑的环节中,活跃课堂气氛,巩固所学目标语言。
3.Show some pictures to the students to present the sentence structures:
= 1 \* GB3 ①. T: Look at the picture and answer my question. What are you doing?
引入目标句型:What are you doing? I’m reading a newspaper. Etc.
通过师生问答,操练目标语言。在句式练习中,巩固新词组,体悟现在进行时的语境。
= 2 \* GB3 ② Pair work
A: What are you doing?
B: I’m .... What are you doing?
A: I’m ...
talking on the phone, exercising , using the computer, making soup
给出对话框架和备选动词词组。降低操练的难度,本着小步子,低台阶,快节奏的原则,让同学们熟练掌握目标语言。
Show students other pictures and ask the question like below.
= 1 \* GB3 ① T: What is he/she doing? S: He/ She is ...(找程度较好的同学回答这个问题,起到示范作用)
