MTC300 Series Generic Machine Tool Controller User Guide Preface Preface Overview The MTC300 is an x86-based IPC product that builds on a PC to deliver a scalable, inheritable, multi-dimensional, information-based, open, and visualized system. It is equipped with the EtherCAT bus in standard configuration, and designed with up to 14 linkage spindles and a minimum motion period of 500 us. Relying on its powerful motion control functions, the MTC300 can meet the high-speed and high-precision requirements in the digital control industry. In addition, the MTC300 in standard configuration is equipped with a remote I/ O module dedicated to the machine tool industry, and therefore is capable of mandatory functions such as DI/DO, AI/AO, pulse control, and handwheel sampling. The MTC300 applies to a variety of industries, including but not limited to spring machines, glass machines, laser cutting machines, engraving machines, PCB drilling machines, and spraying coating. This document describes the basic specifications, installation, wiring, commissioning, and maintenance of the MTC300.
