It belongs to the sub-tropical moist monsoon climate. It’s one of the centers of Karst Area in East Asia. The total area of this country is 242200 hectares, in which there are 169142 hectares are deserted or will become desertification. Currently, desertification, which is one of the most important factors that confine the development of the living standard in local community and economy, has affected the ecological environment seriously. Consequently, It is meaningful to develop the community economic that making some related prevention means and control measures, which according to investigation and analyze the distribution, the present situation and the damage of desertification in all regions of Dushan Country.
