Henan Electric Power Hospital， Zhengzhou 450000， China 【Abstract】 Objective To investigate anesthetic effect by propofol combined with fentanyl for anesthesia in painless gastroscopy. Methods A total of 200 patients receiving electronic gastroscopy were divided by random number table into observation group and control group， with 100 cases in each group. The observation group received propofol combined with fentanyl for anesthesia before examination， and the control group received oral administration of lidocaine mucilage instead. Adverse reactions during examination in both groups were recorded for comparison. Results The observation group had obviously lower total incidences of adverse reactions of cough， nausea and vomiting， dizziness and dysphoria as % than % in the control group. Their difference had statistical significance （P）. Conclusion Implement of propofol combined with fentanyl for anesthesia in painless gastroscopy shows excellent effect.
