Methods 56 cases of depression patients admitted and treated in our hospital from December 2014 to December 2016 were selected and divided into two groups according to nursing models， the routine nursing group adopted the routine nursing measures， while the humanistic nursing group adopted the humanistic nursing measures on the basis of the routine nursing， and the quality of life， depression state and nursing satisfactory degree were compared between the two groups. Results After nursing， the physical function， mental function， social relationship and surroundings in the humanistic nursing group were higher than those in the routine nursing group， and the depression state score was lower than that in the routine nursing group， and the nursing satisfactory degree was higher than that in the routine nursing group， which were respectively（±）scores， （±）scores， （±）scores， （±）scores，（±）scores and %（P）. Conclusion The humanistic nursing measures for depression patients can obviously improve the quality of life of patients and improve the depression state of patients， which should be promoted in the clinical nursing.
