Understanding your Personality. How much do you already know about your personality? Read on and you will learn how to: describe your personality explain the key ideas in Freud’s model of personality In Session 8 in Week 2, you will be given time to do an online personality quiz. To do the quiz: Use the Jung Typology Test on the H website by either typing in the the address or by using the link in your Applied Personal and Profession Development Moodle site: The test will give you questions and will analyse your answers to give you a personality type. Some of the questions contain words or concepts that are difficult to understand. Make sure you ask your tutor to explain them to you. If you don’t clearly understand the question then you might answer it inaccurately and it will ‘skew’ your results. When you have finished and clicked on Submit, it will give you 4 letters. When you know the four letters type them into Google’s search bar and add the word: Keirsey. You should find a website page that describes your personality based on those 4 letters. Click on the link and it will take you to a page that explains your personality type. Make sure you ‘favourite’ the page so that you can get back to it easily. (Ask your tutor if you do not know how to create a favourite).
