牛津高中英语说课稿
Good evening, ladies and gentleman. Today, I feel honored to have the chance to share my ideas about how to teach the Project section in Unit 1 of Module 4.
In the teaching process, I will focus on students’ long-term development and
enable them to use proper reading, speaking and writing skills. My teaching plan will include the following sections: analysis of the teaching materials, teaching methods, identifying the teaching aims and teaching procedures as well as the students’ learning
methods.
Section 1 Analysis of the Teaching Material
A. Status and Function
This is the sixth period of Unit 1. The topic of this unit is advertisement. The handout on the book is used to introduce some basic information about ad campaigns. It explains that students should have a clear goal and target audience when they are developing their own advertising campaign. The second reading passage serves as a sample for students so that they know what to do for their own ad campaigns. n this period, students are asked to develop an advertisement campaign, which will I
promote an issue dealing with public welfare.
B. Teaching Important and Difficult Points
1. How to help them to develop an ad campaign with creativity and imagination 2. How to encourage students to cooperate with each other
Section 2 Teaching Aims
Based on the analysis of the teaching materials, I have chosen the following as the teaching aims of my lesson:
1. To cultivate the students’ ability to comprehend the basic information about
ad campaigns.
2. To encourage students to make full use of what they have learned to develop
an ad campaign concerning a social problem.
3. To help students to catch the correct direction of the development of the
society, so that they can do more for our country. This is sublimation of moral
emotion in this class.
Section 3 Teaching Methods
In order to achieve the teaching aims mentioned above, I decide to choose Situational Teaching Method, Task-Based Teaching
