My Hometown Cang Zhou; About Cangzhou;Cangzhou Iron Lion Cangzhou Iron Lion scenic spot is located in west of Dongguan village of JiuzhouTown in CangCounty, 20 kilometers southeast of CangzhouCity. Made in Guangshun third year of Houzhou Dynasty, with 6-meter length, 3-meter body width and 5.5-meter height, it weighs about 40 tons. It sits north and faces south, with mud on its boddy, lotus shaped pot on its back, loincloth on its prothorax and hips, wave shaped hair on the temples, large mouth opened, eyes glared, head flung and four limbs of the body diverging, which looks like it is going to walk. With vivid molding, virile and grand force, it is a casting process rarity with the oldest age, largest body and finest shape in the history of our country. According to Cangzhou historical development trend, from the historical stories and character events in Cangzhou, all the exhibitions in the scenic spot have taken the Iron Lion as center to give a complete presentation of Cangzhou historical changes and Cangzhou’s outstanding contributions to Chinese Nation’s Development History, which have become a important classroom for people to learn Cangzhou.; The Tiefo Temple in Dongguang County The Tiefo Temple was listed as one of Hebei Provincial Key Cultural Preservation Centers after liberation.
