Lesson 3 Where Is the Eiffel Tower？ 自贡市汇南实验学校 陈 佳 一、教材分析： 本课教学内容为川教版小学英语五年级上册Unit2 Lesson3第一课时(Let’s learn)，本课通过创设Tom全世界抓Jerry这个情景，学习著名建筑物和旅游景点的单词，并把它们运用到“-Is it …?”“-Yes,it is./-No, it isn’t.”“-Where is...”“-Its in...”这个交际活动中。 学情分析 五年级的学生他们具备一定的英语基础和较强的学习能力，思维比较活跃，他们在四年级的时候已经学习了一些关于地点、国家的单词，以及Is引导的一般疑问句和Where is的特殊疑问句，因此本课将通过创设情景，让学生在适当的语言环境中习得语言。 三、教学目标： 1.通过本课的学习，能正确拼读表示国家名称和各国标志性建筑物的单词。 2.通过本课的学习，进一步掌握Is it.....?和Where is....？句型的问答。 3.通过图片、游戏、小组活动等培养学生的读写能力。 四、教学重点和难点： 1.能够用自然拼读法正确认读国家名称及其标志性建筑物单词 2.在语境中能够运用Is it.....?和Where is....？句型进行口语交流。 五、课前准备： 教具准备：话筒、图片、多媒体课件、四线格磁贴等。 学生分组：将学生分成七大组（六人一小组）。 六、教学过程： 教学过程 时间 教师活动 学生活动 阶段目标 1.Lead-in 4 1.Greeting. 2.Show a picture and ask the pupils:Who are they? (Help students read the word“the Great Wall”correctly, write the sentences “Yes，it is.”on the blackboard.) Look at the picture and ask , “Where is the Great Wall?” Write the sentences “Where is...”“Its in...”on the blackboard. Show some pictures of Jerry and ask pupils to guess:Where is Jerry? Look at the pictures: Is it Big Ben? Is it the Eiffel Tower? Is it Mount Fuji? (Help the students to read “the Eiffel Tower”correctly.
