Revise the key grammars. 3.Cultivate their ability of creation. 教学重难点： Tenses and modal verbs. 教学准备： PPT/pictures on the Internet/ videotape. 教学过程： Step 1. Tenses Show them a table about different tenses, encourage them to find the rules for different tenses. Give them some tasks to change the sentences and say it out orally in class. Finish some exercises about tenses. Complete the exercises from Part 1-4 in the book and check answers. Step 2 Modals Show them some tables about modals, ask them to say the differences between modals. Complete parts 5-7 and check answers. Step 3 Imperative sentences Show them a table about Imperative sentences and have a small inclusion. Complete Parts 8—11 and check answers. Step 4 Weather Show a table about weather, pay attention to the differences between adj. and n. Do exercises in Part 12. Complete Part 13 and check answers. Step 5 Numerals Design a table about numerals, ask them to check if it is right or wrong, they should correct the wrong answers. Look at the pie chart and encourage them to say the numbers out loud in class. Step 6 Listening Listen and complete Part 15, check answers. Listen to the tape in Part 16 and chant. Notice the rhyme. Step 7.Reading Read and complete the passage in Part 17, check answers. Step 8.Group activities Think of ideas for a story in groups. Each group member writes a paragraph of the story. Put the paragraphs together and revise the story. Then read it to the class. Step 9 Homework.
