PAGE PAGE 26 2014年奥巴马APEC峰会演讲的积极话语分析 摘要：本文以Martin和White的评价理论为具体分析工具，以系统功能语法中的语境理论为依托，以美国总统奥巴马在2014年APEC工商领导人峰会上的演讲为具体语料，通过积极话语分析的方法，研究外交演讲语篇中的积极成分，力图展示其有利于世界和谐发展的一面，从建构理想社会的视角出发，积极促进中美两国的友好与合作关系。 关键词：积极话语分析；语境理论；评价理论；外交演讲 Positive Discourse Analysis of Obama’s Speech on the APEC CEO SUMMIT 2014 Abstract: With Martin and White’s appraisal analysis framework, especially on the basis of the context theory in Halliday’s systemic-functional linguistics, this paper deals with the positive factors of Obama’s speech at the APEC CEO SUMMIT on the November 10th, 2014, in a perspective of positive discourse analysis (PDA). By a constructive view of the discourse method, the study aiming to reveal the positive aspect of the diplomatic speech, therefore deepen the mutual-understanding, broaden the channel of cooperation and such benefits in Sino-American relations. Key words: positive discourse analysis; context theory; appraisal theory; diplomatic speech. 1 Introduction 1.1 The importance of the research With the APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) CEO (chief executive officer) SUMMIT was held in Beijing, 2014, especially for the Obama’s speech in Sino-U.S. relation, people are tending to pay more attention on the subject of the future relationship and cooperation between China and America. As a representative of the American government, the speech appeals to a further development in the relationship and cooperation in a positive and friendly perspective. Therefore, the speech is an ideal corpus for the positive discourse analysis, for it is a kind of diplomatic speech that published in one of the most essential official cooperation platform in the world and related to the bilateral relationship developing between the largest two countries over the world.
