Ⅰ.Section B 课文精讲 1.I arrived in Penang in Malaysia this morning with my family. 今天早上我和我的家人到达了马来西亚的槟城。 arrive为不及物动词，后需加介词in或at后才能加表示地点的名词。 到达大城市或国家时要用arrive in；到达乡村、车站等小地方则用arrive at。 例：We arrived in London last week. 我们上周到达了伦敦。 The doctor arrived at the village at last. 医生终于到达了那个村子。 拓展：其他表示“到达”的单词或短语： ①get+地点副词/get to+地点名词； ②reach+地点副词或地点名词； ③若不指明到达的地点，要用arrive。 例题：①我们今天上午到达了武汉。 We Wuhan this morning. ②--When will the plane Shanghai? --Sorry, I don’t know.
