Conclusion The status of traffic accident in Banan district should be paid more distribution characteristic is special and the data are valuable to make further strategy and measure for traffic accidents control. Key words：traffic accident;epidemiology;Chongqing 我国事故年死亡人数高达万人，居世界之首[1，2]，事故已经严重威胁着社会人群生存和健康。预防事故，减少死亡是全民关注的严重社会难题之一，也是预防医学和急救医学的重要任务。 该市发展新区属于重庆主城九区之一，幅员面积1825平方公里，辖19个镇、2个街道，总人口86万。其东与涪陵、南川接壤，南与綦江相连，西与江津、九龙坡、大渡口毗邻，北与南岸、江北、渝北、长寿交界，是重要的交通枢纽。重庆直辖10年来，为适应社会和 经济 的发展，该区交通实现了大跨越，高速公路从无到有，高速公
