会计学;;A brief introduction to the author;Jane Austen (16 December 1775 – 18 July 1817) was an English novelist .She was born in a mid-class family and was brought up in a comfortable environment with harmonious surroundings. She was the youngest of seven children. She received her education—scanty enough, by modern standards—at home. He has five unmarried daughters .;Elizabeth Bennet;;Charlotte;Plot Summary;;;第16页/共38页;第17页/共38页;第18页/共38页;第19页/共38页;第20页/共38页;第21页/共38页;第22页/共38页;;;;Her admirable qualities are numerous;Nevertheless, her sharp tongue and tendency to make hasty judgments often lead her astray (adj.误入歧途的).;;Darcy is Elizabeth’s male counterpart. Intelligent and forthright (adj.直率的), he too has a tendency to judge too hastily and harshly, and his high birth and wealth make him overly proud and overly conscious of his social status.
;Indeed, his haughtiness (n.傲慢) makes him initially bungle (v.把…搞糟) his courtship (n.求爱). When he proposes to her, for instance, he dwell (vi.细想) more on how unsuit
