Difficult Points Role play the story in groups Teaching Aids Multimedia; masks; cards Teaching procedure Steps Pre- reading T’s activities Greet to the students Sing songs: Old Macdonald had a farm T: There are so many animals on the farm. What are they? Have Ss answer. T: Our story today is about animal; can you guess which one? (Teacher leads Ss to ask as “Is it about dogs?”) Tell Ss: You’re so great. Our story is about three little pigs and a wolf. Let’s read the book together. Ss’s activities Ss sing songs Ss answer: cows; chickens ; dogs ; pigs etc. Ss guess: Is it about…? Purpose Sing songs to make class atmosphere easy. Raise Ss’ interest in the story by guessing. While- reading Have Ss look at the cover of the book; and say: What can you see on the cover? Ask Ss: Look; the three pigs are holding something in their hands. What are they? Teach new words: straw; stick; brick. Say to Ss: What are the pigs Ss look at the cover of the book and answer: Three pigs. Ss learn new word: straw ; stick ; brick.  Students learn new words. Then lead to today’s lesson. Develop student’s going to do with the straw ; sticks and bricks? T: Well; let’s see how the pigs make their house. Let’s read the first part of the story. Read the first part of the story for Ss and then ask Ss a question to make sure Ss understand the story: H
