Abstract: Objective To undetand the current situation and development trend of the research on the performance evaluation of matron, and to provide reference for the further research and development of the matronperformance The data were collected from CNKI, Wanfang Medical Network, VIP and CBM from 2005 to November2016, take the performance appraisal, employee ability assessment, ability evaluation or matron as the subject or key words, and the bibliometrics method was used to analyze the year distribution, regional distribution, journals distribution, key words distribution and research direction of distribution A total of 62 literatures related to the performance appraisal of matron were retrieved, of which about % (58) were from medical ititutio, and % (9) were funded by provincial and municipal dispatch area is the largest in Guangdong province (8) , accounting for % of the total issued;journal pape are the most contemporary nue, a total of 6 articles;research on cotruction and implementation of research focused on the nue performance appraisal system, which accounted for % (39) and % (15) .Conclusion The research on performance appraisal of matron has attracted more and more attention, showing the distribution of journals is more dispeed, fund iufficient support, research direction, research content is divee, the characteristics of single research methods。
