Methods 84 pregnant women with vulvovaginal candidiasis in our hospital from January 2014 to December 2015 were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group，42 cases in each control group was given clotrimazole suppository into vagina，the experimental group were given iodophor scrubbing on vagina followed by clotrimazole clinical effect and the incidence rate of advee effect in the two groups was compared. Results The total effective rate in the experimental group was %，which was higher than % in the control group，with significant difference （P）.The total incidence rate of advee effects in the experimental group was %，which was lower than % in the control group，with significant difference （P）. Conclusion The clinical effect of iodophor scrubbing combined with clotrimazole suppository in the treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis during gestation period is significant，which can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms with low incidence of advee effect and high safety，it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
