《英语泛读 》教学大纲 课程英文名称:Interaction 适用专业：英语(商务英语) 学 时 数： 28 教学大纲说明一、课程的性质、教学目的与任务 课程的性质和教学目的 本课程是大学本科外语类水产贸易英语专业开设的必修课。本课程的教学目的是在泛读 教材 1，2 册教学基础上，进一步提高学生的阅读水平和语言技能。通过广泛的阅读，培养良好的阅读习惯，提高阅读速度与理解能力，拓展知识面，扩充词汇的认知量和接触频度， 增强英语语感。 任务 要求能读懂英语国家出版的中等以上难度的文章和材料，能读懂难度相当的文学原著， 掌握所读材料的主旨和大意，了解说明主旨和大意的事实和细节，既理解字面的意思，也能 根据所读材料进行一定的判断和推论，既理解个别句子的意义，又理解上下文的逻辑关系， 而且能对所读材料进行缩写或概括。 二、课程教学的基本要求 本课程要求能读懂一般英美报刊杂志上的社论和书评、英语国家出版的有一定难度的历史传记和报刊作品；能分析上述题材文章的思想观点、语篇结构、语言特点和修辞手法。能在 5 分钟内速读 1500 词左右的文章，掌握文章的主旨和大意，理解事实和细节。 三、本课程与相关课程的关系 英语阅读是获取信息的重要手段,可以通过阅读了解英语中地道用法,同时可以检验英语其他科目如英语词汇学习效果。同时，文章部分选自国外短篇报刊等应用作品，与英美文学史、英语名著选读等课程有着密切的联系。 四、新大纲的改革说明 新大纲强调课堂教学应以学生为主体，以教师为主导，改变以往以教师为中心的教学模式。教师要在教学中充分发挥学生的能动性、创造性，培养学生的自主性、独立性和合作精神，采用灵活多样的教学方式（启发式、讨论式、发现式、研究式等），引导学生在主动积极的思维活动中获取知识、掌握学习方法、培养良好的阅读习惯和思考能力。 教学大纲 一、理论教学部分 Unit 1 主要内容、知识点：As to international students in higher education around the world and experiences and opinions of college life in different places; Some key language points; writing techniques 重 点：Learn the writer ’s writing style and devices employed in the passage; social meaning of the passage. 难 点：Get to know higher education and college life all over the world 教学目标：Learn how to appreciate a short passage comprehensively Unit 2. 主要内容、知识点：Effects of weather on people and possible global changes in climate.
