Unit 6 Dining with Customers Teaching Objectives To develop the students’ listening skill. To train the students’ ability to grasp the knowledge about how to make a reservation, order food and drinks and pay with credit card, etc. in the restaurant. To give the students more chances to talk about something in relation to what they have heard on the tape. To develop the students speaking skill. The important and difficult points To familiarize the students with how to use the language they learn to practice the activities in relation to making a reservation and ordering food and drinks as well as paying with credit card, etc. in the restaurant. Teaching Time 4课时(180分钟) Teaching steps: Lead-in 1) Have you ever eaten out with your friends? If you eat out with your friends, what should you do? Ask the students to discuss their personal experience in the restaurant with their partners. 2)Choose two or three students to tell the class their experience. 3) To learn the new words and expressions in this unit.
