Prof, M Knorz, MD divided New Zealand White Rabbit eyes into 3 groups and flaps were created: 1 - Amadeus microkeratome 2 - iFS laser 70°side cut angle 3 - iFS laser 140°side cut angle At 3 months the rabbits were euthanized and a curved lens was glued to the corneal flap and allowed to dry for 6 mins. A force gauge was attached to the curved lens and pulled perpendicularly until the flap dehisced and peak force could be measured.
