Teaching objectives:
At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
Grasp the usage of some key words and phrases in a concrete context;
Appreciate the beauty of poems from the perspectives of rhythm, rhyme and language
Translate some easy lines into Chinese properly with rhyme;
Talk about their pets and write a short poem/article about them;
Develop a positive attitude towards animals and learn to live with them harmoniously.

Try to translate some lines of the first poem
Group task:
Talk about your favourite pet and write down something about it. Then pick sentences that you like best and organize them into a short poem/article. Poems with rhyme are preferred.
【设计意图】:通过朗读,再次让学生回到课文,体会诗歌节奏、韵律、语言之美。接着给出部分句子的翻译, 让学生尝试译出余下的诗句,体会翻译之趣,中文之美。最后小组合作完成一篇小短文或者小诗,让学生收获创作之乐(课堂呈现不强求押韵,毕竟时间有限,可留到课后钻研),培养对动物积极阳光的情感,同时为后面的 Task 写作部分做好准备。
