An analysis on the Feminism in the Novel of Sister Carrie
Abstract: In translation of English, we should pay more attention to the writing background of the original text. Therefore, this paper firstly research the authors the writing background and the main content to tough feminism reflected by Carrie in “The Sister Carrie”. Secondly, this paper is integrated in the domestic and foreign research situation of “The Sister Carrie”, so as to further discuss the time background of the US, the characteristics of Theodore Dreisers tough feminism , Carries feminism spirit, source and its influence. Finally, the paper puts forward the conclusion as a reference for the full text of the study.
