Do you want some rice? Ren Qiaojun 一、Teaching contents: 《Do you want some rice?》It is the content of elementary school ,English book 3, module 4, unit 1. The target language is “Do you want some rice?Yes,please/No ,thank you.” 二、Analysis of the Teaching Material The theme of this module is Food and the main language content is required to talk about the topic about Food through learning. The theme is close to life which is one of the topics that students are interested in. 三、Design concept In this class, I create situation, organize games and guide cooperative learning to help students to learn and use the target language. At the same time, through different foods in Guangyuan and Hangzhou, students can know the culture of Chinese food. 四、Teaching goals: of Target language knowledge and skill 1)Function: Students can use “ Do you want some rice?”to ask and use “Yes ,please./ No, thank you.”to answer. 2)The students are able to master the sentences: A:Do you want some rice? B:Yes ,please./ No, thank you. The pupils can listen, read and say the vocabulary:want ,some,tomato , egg,potato, Students can use: noodles with tomato and egg. 2. Aims?of?emotion?and?attitude Pupils can actively participate in class learning activities and know more about Chinese fast food.They can love Chinese fast food. of?ability Pupils can actively cooperate with others to complete the study task. 五、Teaching important and difficult points. Important points: Students can listen, read and say the sentences: A:Do you want some rice? B:Yes ,please./ No, thank you. Difficult points: students can listen, read , say and use the sentences: Here are some noodles with tomato and egg. 六、Teaching aids pictures,cards, video, food. 七、Teaching Procedures Step 1: Warm-up Greeting.
