一. 谓语只用单数的情况

时间，金钱，重量，长度的名词复数做主语，通常被看作整体。Ten years a long time for a person. ( is )
Ten kilometres a long distance to walk. ( is )

注意：强调“多”，或侧重“一个个”时，谓语用复数。
