Grading is by percentages, with 100 as the maximum grade. The pass mark is set at 60?percent. The final grade will be based upon the total score on all the components of the course. The total score is the sum of the scores on the final exam (accounting for 50 pts), performance in classes (50 pts). In this course we will also discuss the basic laws describing optics, thermodynamics, electric and magnetic fields, special relativity and quantum physics.
