There is some soup/milk /te a/coffee/juice/water/chocolate. （ 2 ） There are 用 于 可 数 名 词 的 复 数 ， 如： There are some desks in the classroom. （3）There be 句型的就近原则：be 动词后面如果跟的是不止一种物品，就根据 离 它 最 近 的 物 品 选 用 is 或 are. 如 ： There are some pictures and a telephone. There is a telephone and so me pictures. There be 句型的否定形式：在 be 动词的后面加no（t is not 可以缩写为isnt， are not 可 以 缩 写 为 arent ） 把 some 改 成 any 。 例 ： There is a pencil in the pencil-box. （ 改 为 否 定 句） There isnt a pencil in the pencil-box.
