By reading the quote, students are getting to know the theme of the unit. Telling apart Help Ss practice the pronunciation of the phonetic sounds: /a:/, /?/,/?/, /a?/, /s/, /z/,/e/. Read the proverbs and sayings and practice the tongue twister. Play the recording and ask Ss to read aloud. Correct their pronunciation when necessary.
