宾语从句 Object Clause 一、宾语从句的概念 在句子中作宾语作用的从句，叫做宾语从句。 eg. You stole what was left of my heart. I don’t know where I am. I can’t recall how I got here. 二、宾语从句三要素 引导词 语 序 时 态 I. Lingling says (that)… She is with some classmates from London. She is studying Chinese. China is a very exciting place. Sally plays the violin really well. The concert is excellent. The film starts at 8. It’s a great film. 如果宾语是陈述句，引导词是 (that) 可以省略 that 在句中无词汇意义，在从句中不能充当成分，在口语当中往往省略。 II. 一般疑问句 Has Sally arrived? Can she come? Is she Chinese? Do you miss the UK? Does she like to go skiing? Is she doing her homework? Are you 15? yes or no 请观察宾语从句并总结 Has Sally arrived? I want to know if Sally has arrived. Can she come? I want to know if she can come. Is she Chinese? I want to know if she is Chinese. Do you miss the UK? I want to know if you miss the UK. 请观察宾语从句并总结 Does she like to go skiing? I want to know whether she likes to go skiing (or not). Is she doing her homework? I want to know whether she is doing her homework (or not). Are you 15? I want to know Whether you are 15 (or not). 如果宾语是用yes或者no来回答的一般疑问句，引导词是 if whether whether …or not if/ whether “是否”，说明对陈述的事物不明确或不清楚。常用在ask, wonder, can(could) you tell me 等后。 III. 特殊疑问句 Where do they stop on the way? When will he come back? How can she get to the station? Why is the train late? Why does he smile? Where are you from? How often do you swim? She asks … Where do they stop on the way? She asks where they stop on the way. When will he come back? She asks when he will come back. How can she get to the station? She asks how she can get to the station. Why is the train late? She asks why the train is late. I wonder… Why does he smile? I wonder why he smiles. Where are you from? I wonder where you are from. How often do you swim? I wonder how often you swim? 如果宾语是特殊疑问句，引导词是 疑问词本身，比如 when, what, why, who, which, where whose book how及以how开头的疑问词: how often, how long, how old, how soon … 疑问词在从句中担任句子成分，具有一定的意义，不可省略。 th
