This study adopts literature research, case analysis, and empirical research methods, and investigates and analyzes relevant legal documents, cases, and practical situations to discover the main problems of the self-recognition system in practice, including the use of intentionally false evidence, non-standard evidence collection and review procedures, and inconsistency in court judgment standards. To solve these problems, this study proposes improvement suggestions, including improving evidence rules, strengthening the review of evidence authenticity, enhancing evidence management and supervision, and strengthening the training and education of judges. The findings and suggestions of this study can help to improve the credibility and accuracy of the system of self-recognition, promote litigation fairness, and protect the rights and interests of litigants.
