At present, the concentration of the cement and building materials industry is low, the over all scale is large, energy consumption is high, and pollutant emissions are amplified. Its environmental protection issues have become the most urgent problem faced by the cement industry. Against the backdrop of the wave of mergers and acquisitions, cemen t companies can absorb other companies green technologies through green mergers and acquisitions, expand their green competitive advantages, achieve energy conservation and emission reduction, and ultimately achieve green development of the enterprise. This paper selects the case of Jidong Cement MA of mangrove environmental protection, analyzes the impact of MA events on corporate financial performance, discusses the motivation and ways of Jidong Cement MA of mangrove environmental protection, and draws conclusions and enlightenment.
