This idiom, as a whole, suggests if we keep carving a metal or stone, we will eventually turn it into an art work, however hard it is. Taking carving a metal as an analogy, this idiom highlights the moral that if we don’t give up, we will achieve our goal one day. Dear friends, the road to success is a continuous journey.
