一、知识点归纳 1.规则形式：一般说来，单音节词及少数双音节词在后加-er/ -est 来构成比较级和最高级；其他双音节词及多音节词在前加more/ most，如：great-greater-greatest, busy-busier-busiest, important-more important-(the)most important 原 级 原 级 较 级 最 高 级 原 级 较 级 最 高 级 good / well better best bad ill / badly/ worse worst many / much more most little / few less least far farther further / farthest furthest / *以后缀-ly 结尾的副词是在原形前加more/ most，如：quickly →more quickly →most quickly 形容词比较等级的用法： 表示两者的比较：形容词的比较级+than. 如：He is cleverer than the other boys. 表示两者以上的比较：the +形容词最高级（+名词）+of /in …如：He is the cleverest boy in his class. 表示两者是同等程度：as +形容词原级+as. 如：He is as tall as I. 比较级句型： Who / Which + be +比较级, A or B 如 ：Which is more beautiful, Beijing or Shanghai be + the 比较级 + of the two. (两个之中比较…的那一个)，如：John is the more polite of the two boys. The + 形容词比较级…, the + 形容词比较级…（越…就越…），如： The harder you study ,the more/greater progress you make. 你越努力，取得的进步就越大 形容词/副词比较级 + and +形容词/副词比较级（越来越…）。如：Our city is more and more beautiful. 形容词/副词比较级 + than + any other +名词单数形，如：Shanghai is larger than any other city in China. 形容词/副词比较级 + than + the other +名词复数形式，如：It’s also cheaper than the other stores. 关于比较级的几个需要注意的问题： 1）为了加强语气，在比较级前面加表示相差程度的状语，常见的有much, far, even, still, a lot, a little, any, rather, a bit, a great deal等，如：We’d better wait a little longer.
