Analysis of the teaching material This is a writing course, deals with reading for writing a letter of advice. The writer wrote some advice about how to deal with being addicted to computer games and the writer explains the harm of Internet addiction and put forward suggestions to solve this problem, the end paragraph of hope or wishes. This article embodies the format of the letter, including date, address, body, end, and signature. The writer was sincere and answered the question of the writer seriously and enthusiastically II .Analysis of students Students are freshmen, who are not familiar with the format of writing the advice letter. Therefore, the teacher need to introduce the questions of teenagers, and naturally changes to the text of the suggestion letter. The teacher leads the students to get familiar with the main information of the text, and then the students read and sort out the components of the suggestion letter and sort out the relevant languages for making suggestions. III. Analysis of the teaching principles In language teaching, teachers should take the role of facilitator and scaffolding for the students. They should not tell students everything, but help students to activate their background knowledge and to construct meaning of the world. Another key influential factor in language learning is the interaction between teacher and students. In a word, with teacher’s careful scaffolding and students’ meaningful interactions, the language class will be successful in developing students’ communicative competence. IV.
