-Procedure1:

ThisprocedureisfocussedontheheattransferinoperationusingtheHVACsystemwithouttheneedto

installoftemporaryfansandheaters.

TheHVACsystemshalloperatewithonlyreturnair,withafixedfanspeed(maximumspeedinheating

mode)andwiththeprincipalandauxiliaryheatinguni岱atfixedcapacity.

Therangeoftemperaturesrelatingtodifferentpointsofexteriormeasurementshallbelessthan2K.

Therangeoftemperaturesrelatingtodifferentpointsofinteriormeasurementshallbeinaccordance

with11.1.3.

ItisrecommendedthattheaverageoftheinsideairspeedisbetweenO,Sm/sandlm/s.

-Procedure2:

Thisprocedureisfocussedontheinsulationofthevehicleandprovidescomparableresultstovehicles

testedaccordingtothepreviousversionofthisdocument.

TheHVACsystemshallbeelectricallyisolated,andthefreshairandexhaustairopeningsshallbe

closed.Itisnecessarytoprovideatemporaryheatinginstallationindependentofthatofthevehicle,

controllabletoalowoutputinthevehicleinterioranddistributedinthecomfortenvelopeand/or

annexareas.Theuniformityofthetemperaturesinsidethevehicleshallbeachievedbyadditionalfans.

Thepowerconsumptionofthetemporaryheatingsystemandtheadditionalfansshallberecorded

separately.

Therangeoftemperaturesrelatingtodifferentexteriorpointsofmeasurementshallbelessthan2K.

Therangeoftemperaturesrelatingtodifferentinteriorpointsofmeasurementlocatedatl,lmabove

thefloorshallbelessthan2K.

Theaverageoftheinsideairspeedshallbebetween0,5andlm/s.
