一、课程简介

本课程是为一、二年级本科生开设的人文综合课程，是一、二年级本科生的公共必修课程。通过本课程学习，使学生较全面了解排球运动的基本理论知识，掌握排球的基本技术、技能和战术；掌握排球运动规则和裁判法并能在实践中加以运用，培养学生成为学校群体活动的骨干；全面有效地提高学生的身体素质，增进健康，促进学生身心全面发展；培养学生集体主义精神以及团结协作，勇于进取的思想品质；培养学生树立正确的体育道德观、终身体育观。

排球是深受人们喜爱的一项运动，排球入门比较容易，运动量可大可小，适用于不同性别和体质的人群。排球是公共体育课程选修项目之一，以体育课的组织形式，结合排球的特点，使学生学习和掌握必要的体育理论知识和专项知识和技能，建立正确的体育观念，增强现代体育意识以及树立终身体育的观念，是促进身心和谐发展，将思想道德教育，文化科学教育，生活教育和体育技能教育于身体活动并有机结合的教育过程，是实施素质教育和培养全面发展的人才的重要途径。
