Thenextday,IvisitedtheTempleofHeaven,acomplexofreligiousbuildingsdedicatedtoHeavenandEarth.Theintricatearchitectureandpeacefulatmospheremadeforarelaxingmorning.Later,IwalkedthroughtheHutongdistricts,wherenarrowalleyslinedwithtraditionalcourtyardhousesofferedaglimpseintothedailylivesofordinaryBeijingresidents.
