Abstract：Sinceenteringthe21stcentury,Chinassocialeconomyhasbeeninastateofrapiddevelopmentandhasenteredastageofcomprehensiveandhigh-speedindustrialization.Inthisgeneralenvironment,Chinassmallandmedium-sizeenterprisewillusherinmanynewdevelopmentopportunities,andtheproportionofsmallandmedium-sizeenterpriseeconomyinthenationaleconomywillalsoincreaseduringthisperiod.Forsmallandmedium-sizedenterprises,especiallythoseengagedinproduction,enterpriseinventoryisoneofthemostimportantsectionsofenterpriseassets.Anenterprisesoperatingcapacityandprofitabilitywillbegreatlyaffectedbyitsinventorymanagementlevel.However,asfarasthecurrentsituationisconcerned,alargepartofsmallandmedium-sizedenterprisesinChinaareawareofinventorymanagementatasuperficialstage,andthelevelofinventorymanagementisrelativelylow.Newopportunities,unabletoadapttomarketdevelopmentandchanges,willseriouslyhinderthelong-termdevelopmentofenterprises.Thisarticlespecificallyanalyzesthestatusquoandproblemsofinventorymanagementforsmallandmedium-sizedenterprisesinChina,andproposescountermeasurestoimproveenterpriseinventorymanagementtohelpenterprisesdevelopmorehealthilyandcontinuously.
