•4xStand-offstoprotecttheEL6ewhenusedonadesktoporconductivesurfaces

NOTE:Someofthesepartscannotbeorderedseparately.

SetuptheDevelopmentKit

1.Selecttheantennatouse.WhenoperatingtheEL6eModule,youwillneedtoselectaregionofoperation.

TheseregionswilleitherbeintheEUrange(865to869MHz)orthe“NA”region(915to928MHz).Usingthe

inappropriateantennaforyourregionsettingresultsinpoorperformanceandmayshortenthelifeofthemodule

overtime.

2.TheEUantennaismarked867M.TheNAantennaismarked924.5M.Ifthemarkingontheantennasarenot

visible,theycanbedistinguishedfromoneanotherbytheappearanceofthesilverarea,asshownbelow.

3.CarefullyattachtheU.FLconnectorontheantennacabletothematingconnectorontheboard.Thecable

shouldbefreetorotatearoundtheconnectorwithoutdisconnecting.

NOTE:Itisverydifficulttore-seatthisconnectoroncetheantennaismountedontheboard.
