Oneday,duringaclassdiscussion,theteacher,ChristinaHayes,askedthestudentstoshareasecretaboutthem.Workinguphiscourage,Jaronrevealedhisconditiontohisclassmates,explainingthathesawgrayinsteadofcolorslikepurple,green,andblue.Whentheteacheraskediftherewasanythingthatcouldhelphim,Jaronmentionedthespecialglasses,butnotedthattheyweretooexpensiveforhisfamily.
