1.3WhydoweneedWSUD?WSUDrepresentsashiftinthewayurbandevelopmentisconceived,planned,designedandbuilt.Ratherthanusingtraditionalapproachestoimposeasingleformofurbandevelopmentacrossallocations,WSUDconsiderswaysinwhichurbaninfrastructurecanbeintegratedwithinthenaturalfeaturesofasite.Italsoseekstooptimisetheuseofwaterasaresource.
