Firstly,biofuelsarecleanerthanfossilfuels,whichcanreducetheemissionsoftoxicairpollutants,suchasparticulates,carbonmonoxide,etc.However,someoftheland,fertilizer,andenergyusedtogrowbiofuelcropsshouldbeusedtogrowfoodcropsinstead,whichismoreimportanttohumans’survival.What’sworse,ifweclearlargeareasofnaturalvegetationandforestsforbiofuels,thebalanceofnaturewillbedisturbedandthenegativeenvironmentalimpactsmaybegreaterthananypotentialbenefitsofusingbiodiesel.Forexample,ethanolandbiodieselaregenerallyconsideredcarbon-neutralbecausetheplantsusedtomakefuelethanolorbio
