II.TeachingKeyandDifficultPoints

Step1:Leadin(5minutes)

1.TheteachershowssomepicturesoffamoustraveldestinationsaroundtheworldonthePPT,suchastheEiffelTowerinFrance,theGreatWallinChina,andtheSydneyOperaHouseinAustralia.

2.Askstudents:“Ifyoucouldtraveltooneoftheseplacesrightnow,whichonewouldyouchooseandwhy?”Encouragestudentstosharetheirthoughtsbrieflyinclass.

Step2:Prelistening(8minutes)

1.Conductabrainstormingactivity.Writethephrase“TravelPreparations”ontheblackboard.Dividestudentsintosmallgroupsof45.Eachgroupisrequiredtolistasmanythingsaspossiblethatneedtobepreparedbeforeatripwithin3minutes.
