Start-upandCommissioningAddendum

1.EquipmentInstallationRequirements:

a.Start-upandCommissioningservicespriceiscontingentuponcontinuous,unobstructedaccessto

deenergizedandproperlyisolatedequipment.

b.Start-upandCommissioningservicespriceisbasedupontheequipmentbeingcompletelyinstalled,

cleanedwithallinterconnectwiring,powercabling,busductandshortshippeditemsin-stalledand

connected,withcontrolpowerappliedpriortoABBarrivingonsitetoperformproposedservices.

Thescopeofworkisoutlinedinthesuppliedbillofmaterialandshouldbereviewedforaccuracy.

Facilitystartupisnotincludedinthisproposal.

2.Communications,ControlsandSettings:

a.Powersystemcoordinationarcflashreductionsettings,relaysettings,tripunitsettingsandany

othersettingsrequiredtobeprovidedtoABBinanappropriateformatatleasttwo(2)weeksprior

tomobilization.

b.ABBshallnotberesponsibleforanyexternaldevicecommunications.Buyerprovidedcommunica-

tionssettingsshallbeinstalledintosupplieddevices.Nocommunicationsprogrammingortrouble-

shootingofthecustomer’snetworkisincluded.

c.Modbus(RS485)CommunicationsoverEthernetshallbeverifiedlocallyattherelaymeterbyABB

andscreenshotwillbeusedforconfirmation/documentation.Buyershallberesponsibleforprovid-

ingallNetworkingIPSubnetAddressestwo(2)weekspriortothestartupcommissioning.Buyer

shallalsoberesponsibleforallinterfacingintotheirNetwork/DCS/buildingmanagementsystem(s)

afterinitialcommunicationsverificationbyABB.

d.DataMapping,addressingand/orintegrationofequipmentintotheBuyer’sneworexistingpower/
