（一）课程简介

HumanResourceManagementisconcernedwithpeopleatworkandtheirrelationshipwithinanorganisation.Itisessentiallyaboutmanagingpeopleinawaythatbothmaximisesandrewardsthecontributioneachpersonmakestotheorganisation.Organisationschoosebetweenarangeofpoliciesandpracticesthatcanassistinachievingthisobjective.Policiesandpracticessuchashowtorecruitandselectemployeesandhowtopayandrewardthem.

Thismoduleaimstointroducestudentstotheareaofhumanresourcemanagement.Itaimstodevelopstudents’knowledgeandskillsinsomeofthebasichumanresourcemanagementactivities.Haveanabilitytocriticallyevaluateindepthhumanresourcemanagementcasestudies.
